Moving Siddur Party at Ma’oz Yerushalayim

The first grade girls and their mothers had a wonderful time at the moving ceremony, at which the students received their siddurs and made a beautiful presentation on the theme of “Pitchu li,” “Open the Gates for Me.”

Camp Lilach at Maoz Yerushalayim – Values and Experience

Winter camp 5778 at Maoz Yerushalayim was a great success! The camp’s name, Lilach, reflects the value of considering the needs of others (li-for me, lach – for you). As part of the activities, girls viewed a presentation about Rav Shteinmen zt”l and his incredible consideration for others. The girls also prepared a bag of treats for one another in preparation for a trip, putting these values into action.

Another Birthday!

Ch. Katz recently celebrated her birthday at a table spread with delicious treats! The women enjoyed the great food provided by director Tzipi Dori. In addition, counselor Reut Me’alam prepared delicious falafel and organized a great party, with French fries, chumus, pickles, cut vegetables, and salad. Mazel tov signs and balloons decorated the walls, and smiles decorated everyone’s face.

Another Special Birthday!

Following the success of previous birthday parties, which energize and bring joy to everyone involved, we were privileged to host yet another party – but this one was extra special, as it was organized by the birthday boy himself. Sh. expressed that he wanted to arrange his party on his own, and he did a super job! A guest singer, keyboard player, and a trumpet player provided the music, and delicious kugel was distributed to all the participants.

Birthday Time!

A birthday is a great reason for a party – certainly in the warm environment of Seeach Sod!

Second graders in the Talmud Torah class of Otzar Yerushalayim are presented with chumashim.

Gold. Crowns. Name plates. Head table. No, this wasn’t a panel of rabbis, but rather excited second graders who have earned their first chumash!

Seeach Sod Celebrates the Opening of their First Vocational Center and Group Home in Beit Shemesh

Rav Moshe Abutbul, Mayor of Beit Shemesh, joined in the opening celebration of our first vocational center and supported housing project in Beit Shemesh. He said that the “experience and professionalism that Seeach Sod brings with them to Beit Shemesh is a great blessing for the entire community.”

Mesibat Sidur celebration for first graders in Ozer Yerushalayim and Maoz Yerushalayim

Smiling faces and sincere kedusha lit up the atmosphere as the young students received their first siddur in a special program with selected songs on the subject of prayer, and music that conveyed prayer and its significance.

Chanukahs Habayis in Har Nof

On February 22nd, a very special event took place on Rechov Admor Meboyan 6, a 4-floor villa that houses 24 men with special needs. A memorable Chanukahs Habayis was celebrated, upon the completion of much needed renovations on the home.
