The Modzitzer Rebbe and the Mayor of Bnei Brak at Seeach Sod’s Chanuka Celebration

On the second night of Chanuka, a special party was held at the Armanot Chen Hall in Bnei Brak for the participants in Seeach Sod’s vocational program in the city. The owners of the hall – who employ a group of the men in the program – invited to the celebration hundreds of men who work in neighborhood businesses or as part of guided groups in industrial workshops.

The participants were honored to host the Modzitzer Rebbe, who distributed Chanuka gelt to the excited men. The Mayor of Bnei Brak, R’ Avraham Rubinstein, also honored the participants with his presence, and he lit the Chanuka candles as well. Many volunteers helped make the celebration happen, and everyone enjoyed the Neshama Choir, singers Ruli Dickman and Mendy Weiss, and musicians Mendy Kletzky and Aherele Bender.

Seeach Sod CEO R’ Shimon Levy thanked the guests of honor for participating and for their partnership in creating the opportunity for these men to integrate into the community. He invited Mr. Yoav Chatav, the caterer at Armanot Chen, to join the organization of employers of individuals with disabilities.
