Special Chanukah Activities

At Seeach Sod, you never have to guess the date – you can sense it through the activities! This is certainly true on Chanukah, when the abundance of holiday-related activities combined for a truly exciting week.

The following is only partial list of what went on here over Chanukah:

Kislev Activities at the Women’s Day Center

Kislev – Giving From the Heart

Girls in our Maoz Yerushalayim school are dedicating the new month of Kislev to the theme of “kis” (pocket) and “lev” (heart) – giving with one’s whole heart. The project opened with a special party in honor of Rosh Chodesh and a demonstration of the difference between giving with a sour face and giving with a smile. The program included a contest between the classes, and the students also worked on a fun art project.
