An Exciting Trip for Hard Workers

Following a period of intense and challenging work, the participants in the men’s vocational program who work in industrial factories had the opportunity to use their hard-earned income to pay for an enjoyable outing, a wonderful reward for their hard work throughout the winter.

During this period – the first opportunity that these men have had to experience an obligatory work environment – they acquired many skills, including work ethic, proper interaction with employers, use of public transportation, and more. Through this experience, they have had the chance to be full and active members of society, transforming into individuals who contribute to their surroundings.

The trip began with a train ride to Haifa, where they went to the park and the zoo. They then took a special cruise to Acco, where they enjoyed a tour of the walls of the old city and a film about the history of the city. The men slept overnight in a hotel on the walls of the old city, overlooking the sea.

The next morning, the men traveled to the grave of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai (just a few days after Lag B’Omer!), where they were joined by Seeach Sod CEO Rabbi Shimon Levy. From there they traveled to Yarcha Park, with its many attractions, and from there they returned home happy and satisfied!
